Sir Pigglesworth Action & Adventure Chapter Books for Children ages 5-8

Wes-T Bear is teaching Sir Pigglesworth about preventing forest fires and Sir Pigglesworth is taking it to heart.

Obviously there has already been a fire as evidenced by the trees lack of tops and leaves…even the ground is brown, which is what’s left behind by a fire.

My husband and I were in Pigeon Forge about 4 months after the fire…it was so sad.

They were all tired from traveling and the ladies wanted to rest a while, but Sir Pigglesworth had other plans.

As they neared the cabin, he saw Wes-T Bear walking along the road. He gasped and grabbed Diane’s arm. “Do you know who that is?” he whispered. “That’s the bear that puts out every fire in the world!”

Before Diane could correct him, Sir Pigglesworth was off and running, straight into Wes-T’s legs. “You’re my hero,” he told him.

“It’s nice to meet you,” Wes-T said in a deep voice. “Remember to always put out your campfire when you are finished with it. Never play with lighters or matches. They are not toys. Fire is very dangerous.”

“Just a few months ago, we had a forest fire here and it destroyed a lot of trees and homes. Always be very careful.”
