Rushing for the Water Spout

Rushing for the Water Spout

Sir Pigglesworth Action & Adventure Chapter Books for Children ages 5-8

An interesting tidbit about this picture is these are our friends Al and Eva.
I send a picture to David, our illustrator, and their likeness is amazing!
What Sir Pigglesworth spots in the background that he’s running to is the guy filling the balloons with what he thinks is water, but turns out to be helium.
Can’t you just imagine what happens next?

Text from book 3 page 23 for the Turkey Flying High Illustration

Sir Pigglesworth ran in that direction and bumped into two people who were taking pictures of the floats.
“Hello,” he said. “I’m Sir Pigglesworth. I’m sorry I wasn’t watching where I was going.”
“Well, hello,” said the woman. “That’s okay. It’s nice to meet you.”
“I would love to stay and chat, but I really need a drink,” Sir Pigglesworth said.
He was already running off to where a man was filling up balloons with helium to make them float.
The man tied off the last balloon and walked away.
