After swimming, Sir Pigglesworth couldn’t seem to shake the water from his ears. He couldn’t hear very well.

Every time he talked, he yelled.

“Bill!” he called loudly, even though he was only standing two feet from him.

“I want to buy JoAnn a birthday present. Will you take me to find something nice for her?”

“What did you have in mind?” Serena yelled back. She had water in her ears, too.

“What about diamonds?” Sir Pigglesworth shouted.

Bill, who was getting a headache from all the yelling, quickly took them to the jewelry store.
