On our visits there we can see that all the servers dress like it is the ‘50’s.

It’s so cool and brings me straight back to my childhood.

And the food is definitely delish at Mel’s Diner…and lots of it!

Chapter 2

After getting settled in their cabin, everyone was hungry. They decided to go to Mel’s Diner to eat. The checkered floor and servers in pink skirts with poodles on them surprised Sir Pigglesworth.

“Are we on another planet?” he whispered to Wanda. She laughed. “This is a ‘50’s diner,” she explained. “This is what restaurants looked like back then.”

Sir Pigglesworth wasn’t sure how he felt about that, but as soon as they brought out his huge double cheeseburger, onion rings and triple thick milkshake he decided that maybe the ‘50’s weren’t such a bad time to be alive after all.
