Six days later, the Duchess arrived on the island of Pigonia.

Shortly after she arrived at the castle, the peaceful island was rocked by the loud boom of cannonballs coming from the sea and the buzz of a small airplane.

The Duchess could see the famous Admiral Cornelius Snout standing at the bow of a Royal Navy ship. Three pirate ships were sailing away from the cannonballs as fast as they could.

In the sky above she saw a small yellow airplane chasing the pirates away.

It was Reginald Hoggbottom, the new Duke of Pigonia. He tipped his wings and landed next to the palace.

For one year the Queen’s ship protected the island of Pigonia, and the pirates did not return. Pigonia was safe – for now.
